The Historical Society of Highlands The Historical Society of Highlands are a group of dedicated people who seek to preserve, promote and share interest in the rich History of a small water front town of Highlands, New Jersey. The Society aims to serve the community by collecting artifacts, memorabilia and memories through publications, archive maintenance and participation in and support community historic and general activities. The Society welcomes members and the public to attend monthly meetings held in the Robert Wilson Community Center, Sung Harbor Avenue, Highlands, New Jersey. Meetings are held every 4th Thursday of the month from March thru October, and the 3rd Thursday in Nov & Dec at 7:30 PM. Membership year runs from July 1 thru June 30th with the Membership fees listed below. The Society supports its operations thru dues, gifts, donations, fundraisers and on going sales of publications and other items during the Seaport Craft Show, Clam Fest and October Fest and through out the year.
