to the Bayshore
We are located in Central New Jersey, 40 miles from New York City by car, bus or train and only 20 nautical miles by passenger ferry to downtown Manhattan from Keyport Harbor, the regions' northern waterfront area. The Bayshore Region is accessed directly from the Garden State Parkway, using GSP Exit 117 Keyport at the northern point and GSP Exit 109 Eatontown at the southern point. The Bayshore Region is traversed by State Highway 36 and includes nine communities that comprise the Bayshore Region. In geographical order these nine communities all share Raritan Bay and the State Highway 36 access: Aberdeen, Matawan, Keyport, Union Beach, Hazlet, Keansburg, Middletown (Port Monmouth, Belford & Leonardo), Atlantic Highlands, and Highlands.
